The Person Who Actually Builds It
There's a difference between someone who can explain AI automation and someone who has spent two decades deploying it in production environments at enterprise scale. Mark Lefebvre is the latter. When he demonstrates a workflow in a workshop, he's not walking through a demo he built last week — he's drawing on 20+ years of designing, building, and maintaining the kind of automated systems that real organizations run on.
Mark's career spans some of the most technically demanding environments in enterprise technology. He built CI/CD pipelines at AgFirst Bank, coordinating across network, server, security, database, and change management teams to create infrastructure that makes software development faster and more reliable. He delivered cloud automation architecture for clients through Nokia and multiple enterprise consulting engagements. He worked on one of the largest open-source projects in active development at Boston College, running performance testing teams and implementing application performance management at scale.
Most recently, Mark served as CTO at Twin Care Technologies and COO at CyCrypt LLC, a Columbia-based data and device security startup building new approaches to making the open internet safe. That combination — deep technical hands-on capability paired with executive leadership experience — is what makes him uniquely effective in a workshop setting. He can walk a business owner through building an AI automation from scratch, and he can also help them think strategically about where automation fits in their organization.
Mark's specialty in the context of SC AI Impact Alliance workshops is translating complex AI capabilities into concrete, buildable workflows. Where most people see a tool, Mark sees a pipeline. He shows South Carolina business owners not just what AI can do in theory, but how to actually wire it into the way their business operates — step by step, without needing a developer on staff to make it work.
Enterprise Depth. Workshop Clarity.
20+ Years Building Real Automation
From Nokia's mobile cloud to AgFirst Bank's release pipeline to startup security infrastructure — Mark has built production automation systems across industries and at every scale.
Cloud Architecture at Enterprise Scale
Deep expertise in AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure — the same platforms that power most modern AI tools. He knows how these systems actually work under the hood.
Security-First Mindset
Executive leadership at CyCrypt, a data and device security startup, combined with enterprise security work at Perimeter E-Security — he understands the risks that come with AI adoption, not just the opportunities.
CTO & COO Experience
Has led technology strategy at the executive level — which means he teaches AI automation the way a technical co-founder would: practically, strategically, and with an eye on what actually matters for a growing business.
Cross-Functional Integration Expert
Spent his career bridging the gap between development, operations, security, and business teams. In workshops, that translates to AI explanations that make sense to non-technical owners and technical staff alike.
He Shows You, He Doesn't Just Tell You
Every automation Mark demonstrates in a workshop is live, real, and replicable. He builds in front of the audience so you leave knowing exactly how to recreate it in your own business.
